A response time written into the contract

Maintenance contracts for cold and freezer rooms
that stop a failure before it costs you stock

Eight hours of downtime in a cold room can mean an entire consignment written off. Annual maintenance contracts from Elfarida Ice turn maintenance from an expensive reaction into a preventive schedule with numbers known in advance — for cold rooms, freezer rooms, blast freezers, chillers and central rack systems across every region of the Kingdom.

The cost of downtime

What not having a maintenance contract actually costs you

A contract price is always compared against the price of a failure, never against the price of doing nothing. These are the cost lines that appear in every unplanned breakdown.

Spoiled stock

A few hours above the permitted temperature takes a consignment outside the food-safety window, and it may have to be destroyed even if the room recovers afterwards.

Halted operations

A restaurant, plant or warehouse without refrigeration stops receiving and stops shipping. The loss is not in the equipment — it is the whole operating day.

Emergency repair at emergency rates

A sudden failure means a spare part that is not in stock, a technician pulled off schedule, and a higher service rate — for a fault a routine visit would have caught.

Excess electricity

A dirty condenser, a low refrigerant charge or a mistuned defrost cycle raises compressor consumption month after month, unnoticed until the bill arrives.

Shorter compressor life

The compressor is the most expensive component in the system, and nothing shortens its life faster than running under unregulated conditions. Early replacement costs several times the annual contract.

Regulatory findings

Food and pharmaceutical facilities are required to keep a documented temperature log and a maintenance schedule. A missing log can mean a finding regardless of equipment condition.

The plans

Three plans — pick the one that matches what downtime costs you

Prices shown are preliminary estimates for a single unit inside the Eastern Province, calculated from the formula published under the estimator. The final price is issued after an on-site survey.

Know your annual range before you call

Enter the units you operate, choose a plan and a region — you get an immediate estimated range calculated from a published formula, not an arbitrary number.

This is a preliminary estimate — the final price is issued after an on-site survey and equipment condition review.

FAQ

Questions before signing

What does an annual cold room maintenance contract cover?
The contract covers scheduled preventive visits including compressor inspection with suction and discharge pressure readings, evaporator and condenser cleaning, refrigerant charge measurement and leak detection, control panel and electrical connection inspection, and controller calibration with defrost cycle tuning. A documented technical condition report is issued after every visit and stays in the facility's records.
How much does a maintenance contract cost per year?
Cost is calculated from the number and type of units, the plan level and the region, using the formula published under the estimator above. The estimator returns an immediate range; the final price is issued after an on-site survey and a review of equipment condition and operating age.
What is the difference between preventive and emergency maintenance?
Preventive maintenance is a schedule of visits that stops a failure before it happens through inspection, cleaning and periodic calibration. Emergency maintenance is a response to a failure that has already occurred. An annual contract covers preventive work in full and gives you priority and a faster emergency response; the Total Care plan adds a round-the-clock emergency line.
Is the 24/7 emergency line available to everyone?
The round-the-clock emergency line is reserved for Total Care contract clients. Clients without a contract are served according to team availability and at a lower priority than contract holders — which is precisely what the contract buys: your place at the front of the queue when everything stops.
Are spare parts included?
The Total Care plan includes consumable spares (filters, belts, contactors, sensors) and one compressor overhaul within the contract term. The Essential and Professional plans include a discount on genuine spare parts instead of covering them.
Which regions do the contracts cover?
We cover the Eastern Province (Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Qatif) and the Riyadh Region through our two branches, and serve the rest of the Kingdom on a scheduled basis. The four-hour response promise in the Total Care plan applies inside the Eastern Province.
Can you contract on equipment installed by someone else?
Yes. The relationship starts with a technical survey that establishes current condition and any corrective work required before the contract begins, so the contract is signed on a basis that is clear to both parties.
